Hi there foster and adoptive families, welcome to our December newsletter! I’m excited to share that this will now be a monthly update packed with helpful tips, resources, and inspiration you won’t want to miss.

I know it’s been a while, but I have been working to switch our email platform over to a more “newslettery” type email so that you can get the best of the content that I provide.

Which is… a behind the scenes look at a foster and adoptive family as well as any tips, information, and fun family things I can think of that may be helpful for you and your children.

IN OUR HOUSE

A Season of Exciting New Beginnings

We just got back from a week at Panama City Beach, Florida. In the pic are my biological boys who are now 21 and 24, and my step sons are 18 and 23 (and 23 year old is not pictured).

Our daughter Chloe, adopted through foster care at the age of 2 and we started fostering her at 6 days old is now 6 years old! Also pictured is sweet little Hailie, who just turned 3, and we are in the process of adopting. In fact, as I write this, our adoption paperwork should be dropped off to sign today!!!! Next it goes to DCFS for approval then we get our official adoption date!

In the meantime, our family is getting ready for the holidays and blessed to have enjoyed a week at the beach. ;-)
